Busy, busy the little shop was. Of course it was just that time of the day, where people would show up to order atlest 7 coffees or cold drinks and a form of pastry or sandwhich. Today's favorites, so far, were tuna salad sandwhich on Wheat and Monte Carlo Bites as well as the Caramel Mocha Dream ( a coffee) and the BunnyRace Dreamsickle (a drink). The owner was like him, had the ability of magic. The owners son, Todd, a good friend of Bradly also worked at the shop. During shifts that were busy like the one at the moment , they were filled with mostly take outs. After all the place really was a hole in the wall. IT was small and hidden downtown, possibly people dtiving around the corner could wonder why there would be a line around a place that didn't have a big sign on it explaining what it was. Though there were two round tables with umbrellas outside the front of the place, and if someoen was sitting out there taking a sip of a beverage, well it was pretty obvious it was plave you could grab something to eat. The floor was wood, the tables were all different colors, different designs. Right when you walk in the entrance, there on the left was a small space , a rack on the wall with magazines and newspapers for the readings, of course they asked for the items to be put back after wards. After the small space was the coungter . A clear class section that showed pastries. A small stack of menus on the corner and the register at the middle of the counter, and pick up at the way end of the counter. Infront of the counter was some more space, then a few tables and chaires. Then the back area got smaller. So the part of building accessed to the public looked like a weird sideways L. IN the back of the small building inbetwee the wall that seperated the customers from the back room with the workers, there was shag carpet, so floor pillows and three rocking chairs.
It was really a great place to come, not a spot that could hold a lot of people, but thankful during busy shifts its just for people who are taking back food to their coworkers.
He and Todd switched places, he started to fill the orders while he took them. About an hour later they switched again and the crowd soon after disappeared. There was maybe three customers in the place, Two by the window and one at the table on the other side of the glass, outside under the umbrella with a book. He went into the back room, the door swinging behind him. He moved to get a mop and bucket, so thath e could clear the floor that was just scuffed by a good amount of boots. As the mop plopped on the floor, he wished that he had quidditch practice.

Angel walked into the tiny little coffee shop, her sweater now no longer able to conceal her pregnant belly. True, she was only three months along, but she had twins. She absently itched her arm as she examined the menu above where she was to order. Sandwiches, pastries, different types of coffees. She bought herself a tuna sandwich and a decaf coffee, black, it was the only way she could drink it. Angel was currently on break from Ollivanders, it was a late lunch hour, but that meant she had less of the day to finish when she got back. She gave a quick smile to the man moping the floor, then seated herself at an empty table to eat.

He gave a smile back and continued with his work. His eyes moved across the floor making sure he removed the scuff marks. He then placed the mop up and and got out a dry mop, after all it was a wood floor and wouldn't want to just let a wood floor dry on it's on. Even if the wood would buckle, him, todd or Todd's father could always do a bit of magic to make the floor well not buckle. He placed a Yellow and orange cone on the floor after using the dry mop. The wood was really wet atleast no enoug hto slip, but he put the cones out just in case. As he was bringing the mop and back he stopped at the girls table. "Anything I can get you?" He asked seeing he was passing by her, he figured he should see if she might need anything.

Angel looked up from the newspaper that had been left on the table when the man that had been mopping asked if he could get her anything. She swallowed her bite of tuna sandwich. "No, thank you," said Angel with a slight smile. She liked this place, the staff was so friendly. Perhaps she would come back here for lunch tomorrow. It wasn't that far a walk from the Leaky Cauldron.

"There are .. other forms of news.. behind the counter if you like.." He paused. "Maybe I should explain.." He smiled. " There is a bell above the door, which has been 'charmed' so to speak" His voice was low on the word charmed. "It doesn't go fof when someone who loved the Leaky Cauldron way to much enters.. The only muggle here right now is the girl sitting outside, though her brother is my co-worker who is magic folk. I have no idea how the bell does it.. apparently it's been here for a while.." The small whole in the wall had a good history on it. "Anyway I haven't seen you here before.. thought I'd just tell you, if you ever wanted a form of news from the other just have to ask at the counter. " He gave a warm smile and then disappeared off with the bucket and mop to the back room. he washed his hands and then moved back out to the counter.

"Oh, thank you," said Angel. "I'll let you know if I need anything," She didn't care much for the Daily Prophet these days. All the stories about people being found dead, others disappearing, while not coming to the reality that new dark times were upon them. She much preferred muggle news, besides, muggles could see the moving pictures, which tended to lead to awkward questions.

He stood behind the counter and took out a peice of chalk righting on the board behind him, well mlore like drawing a game of tic-tac-toe. His competetor, none other than Todd. He placed an Z in a square and waited for Todd to come and place a mark. Even when at times the place was a little bit more busier they'd go help a customer , pour them more coffee or something then go behind the counter mark off their square and then continue to do whtever they needed to. When possibly making am ark on the board, Mostly no one ever won.
The snall building had a fun house effect, with a alison in wonderland meets woodstock meets Coffee shop feel. Not many muggles around here cared to much about a moving picture. The silent bell thing came in use. If the bell was silent when someoen entered then they would look towards the door. It was usefull just incase someone a bit 'dark' looking might come in, they could know who was magic folk and who was not .

Angel flipped the page as she took a sip of her decaf coffee. She had read somewhere that caffeine wasn't the best thing to have a whole lot of when you were pregnant. Dear, even the muggle news these days was getting grimmer, she had just started to read an article about how the muggle Minister's daughter had been found dead in her flat. The police had said it was suicide, though nothing appeared physically wrong with her, and that an autopsy was scheduled. What sick times do we live in? thought Angel, shaking her head and flipping the page.

The bell rang as a woman walked in. "Hi how are you?" He asked, the woman replying and then giving him her order. "It'll be right out, take a seat wherever you like and I'll bring it to you." The woman insisted on paying for it first, so he rang it up, she paid and he handed her the copy of the receipt. He started working on the lady's order, every not and then his head would pop up and look towards the seventh year reading the muggle paper. He blinked to get his mind out of that sort of blankness and headed over to the table with the lady's order. "You enjoy." He stated with a warm smile and then walked back over towards the counter.

Angel was starting to feel dreadfully nauseated. Apparently her boys did not like tuna. Knowing the warning signs, she got up from her table, purse slung over her shoulder and walked briskly to the bathroom. She locked herself in a stall just in time to throw up into the toilet. She wiped her mouth after flushing and went to wash her hands. When she returned to her table, Angel threw out the half-eaten sandwich, obviously she couldn't eat it.

Todd tapped him on his shoulder. "i think your girl is sick..' Todd had said. "she's pregnant" he stated back towards todd, of course in a low conversation voice. He rolled his eyes at his friend and then placed on a smile and moved over towards Ms. Potter. "I couldn't help but to notice you didn't like your sandwhich.. can I get you something else ... on the house." He made his words sound a bit tempting and placed a smile on his lips.

Angel sat back down, still feeling a little bit sick, though a bit better. She made a mental note to herself to never get anything with tuna again. It had tasted good, but apparently Isaiah and Morgayne did not appreciate it. She looked up when the man had asked her if he could get her something else for free. While it was awfully kind of him, food didn't really sound good after throwing up. "Very kind of you," said Angel. "But I'm not particularly hungry anymore," Even the coffee sounded gross, but she would finish it to be polite. "I'm Angie, by the way," Angel added.

"Bradly. " He had noticed her when he was at Hogwarts and she was most likely 15 when he was 17. He just didn't realize it was the same girl he had noticed everyonce in a while on the grounds. After all it had been a few years and they didn't really know each other. He extended a hand out to shake hers. " How far along are you?" He hoped it wasn't a too personal question for the girl.

Angel shook his hand firmly. She had never had too much a problem with a handshake, though she was relatively shy. Her father had always told her that someone's handshake could tell you a lot about them. Harry said to shake firmly, look straight in the eye and don't slouch. It made you seem as confident. She felt her throat tighten as he asked how far along she was. She didn't like to talk about it if she could avoid it, after all, Wolfgang had dumped her because of it. "Three months," said Angel, keeping her tone kindly. It wasn't a rude question, Bradly had the right to be curious.

She was attractive, alwayys had been in his eyes. She probably never even noticed him before at school. Because of Wolfgang or who ever that guy was that he'd always see her around with and she was younger than him.The age difference wasn't that much, but still he just figured that's how it would be. They had said hey to each other in passing in the hall, small random run ins. But he has been away from the school for a good two -three years and hadn't really expected to see her again, none the less pregnant. He of course would say nothing about how they had randomly met in the halls. There random hello's in the halls were probably just like this little run in right now, meaningless and easily forgetable. "Well congrats.." He said witha warm smile . "I 'll get you some ginerale just incase you change your mind and want something to drink." It is the healthiest thing a person could drink besides water.
